My goal is to help families see that sleep is not just a basic necessity, but extremely important for a child's overall wellbeing. Sleep is also a necessity for adults, but many times we sacrifice our own needs for our children.

Being a mother and parent is hard enough, but overtired children can make it really hard.  In my opinion, sleep, schedules, and motherhood in general have become too complicated.  When we work together, I educate you by breaking sleep down to basic science so that it makes sense to tired parents. Once you see the "why," we work together to figure out the "how."  

I focus on being honest, realistic, and helpful. I pull from my own personal and professional life experiences to help empower you to make changes that will allow you to see results.  


Sleep is a necessity and once you get it, your life can truly change.

How can you help me? What are your qualifications?

I pride myself on being honest and relatable. I’ve done the work to get here. I am an RN, BSN and a mother of 4. I’ve spent time in the NICU and Step down nursery with my own kids. I’m currently the Health Services Director for one of the largest and oldest year-round camps in the nation, I've been a floor nurse, and have even served on a medical mission trip in Africa. I have personally experienced Postpartum depression and anxiety. I have experienced scary pregnancies, but thankfully have healthy babies. I’ve experienced a miscarriage. I have had unique life experiences that have brought me right to this career during the exact right time in my life. I am a snuggler and I love to hold my babies. I think all mother’s should be able to hold their baby and enjoy it. I also appreciate science and the rawness of motherhood. I believe in giving our children tools to succeed in life, and sleep is such a big one. Science doesn’t lie and I let it guide me when it comes to sleep. I have vast experience in working with special needs populations and feel this has given me the ability to see and think outside of the box. I won’t judge you, but instead empower you. How long will it take to get my baby/child to become a good sleeper?

Many things determine the length of time it will take. A child’s temperament, the family lifestyle, the chosen training method, and most importantly, parental consistency when it comes to following the sleep plan. Nighttime sleep improves first, and then daytime sleep. I can honestly say that I have had great success in helping clients start sleeping better within 1 week and up to 2 weeks when the parents and caregivers take my advice and stay consistent.

Do you offer a guarantee?

I do not offer a guarantee. Consider our relationship one like a health coach trying to help you lose weight and get healthy. I will give you all of the tools and be your biggest cheerleader, but I cannot do the work for you. You have to implement the plan and follow my advice in order for it to work.

Will my child have to cry?

We all cry. Babies and children will cry at some point. It’s inevitable. Crying is a way to release emotions, and is actually helpful to those that can’t verbalize their needs. Crying is not always a bad thing, but rather very normal and healthy. I am trained in many methods of sleep training from very gentle to the cry it out method. I get to know you and tailor one to fit your parenting style and child’s temperament. The first few nights are always the hardest, but you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how quickly you’ll see positive results if you stay consistent and follow the agreed upon plan.

Which package is right for me and my child?

I've simplified what I offer overtime due to seeing what works best for most of my clients. I have found that the vast majority of my clients choose either a single call or to work with me for 1 week. I can honestly say that, if they parents/caregivers can trust me and put in the work, I can absolutely help you change your own life. A large amount of my clients see success with just 1 call. Some ask for more follow-up and some choose a week. The more gentle the method you choose, the longer time it typically takes. Also, if you are less inclined to make some big changes up front, it can also take longer, but I can help. You are welcome to start with one call and add on a week if you need more daily guidance. A follow-up call is always an option as well. Ultimately, it comes down to you and what you feel you can afford and how consistent you feel you and the other caregivers can be during the time frame you choose. Contact me if you have questions about which option to start with.

What if we have multiple children who need help?

I absolutely can help with multiple children and am able to help you with more than one child at a time. Being a triplet mama myself, I am able to give unique perspectives. I do not charge extra for multiples and love to work with and get to know other moms of multiples. I can also work with kids of different ages in your home, but each child will need their own plan, so I will charge a fair fee for extra children. Some parents find it overwhelming to tackle multiple ages and problems at once. I welcome the challenge if you do.

How young can my baby be when working with you?

I love newborns. I have a package for that sweet and eye opening time in life. We work together to make sure your baby is sleeping safely and set up for success when it comes to sleep. Sometimes, newborn mothers just want to ask a few questions and talk to an actual person. I offer a 45 minute call that allows you to do just that. Newborns are unpredictable because they aren’t developmentally ready to sleep and stay up for longer periods of time. I’ve got you covered from newborn up to 4 years.

Can one call really do enough to actually help me?

One call is all some mothers need. I have gotten pretty good at being able to give you every bit of information you will need to get started and see results. I've actually had so much success with a single call that I've cut down my services page to simplify choices and offer what I've seen work best for my past clients. I will send you an in-depth questionnaire prior to our call so that I can review and make sure I fully understand the situation before we talk. This helps me be prepared and utilize both of our time wisely. If your child has many factors that are making sleep a problem, then you may need more time. If you don’t have a schedule in place at all and/or your child is experiencing behavioral type situations that are affecting bedtime, you may need more help. We can always try one call and add a week of daily support if you see you like my help and want more daily help.

What else can you help with besides sleep?

I am here to help guide you to teach your child to enjoy sleep and follow biological and developmentally appropriate sleep times to help make that possible. I can also help guide you on daily schedules, nighttime feedings, breastfeeding basic support, pregnancy/labor preparation, postpartum education, newborn care, and more.

Need a Fairy Godmother?

Abbey is an absolute Fairy godmother. My daughter is 2 years old and has been waking up anywhere from 6-10 times a night since she was born. I finally decided I needed some help to get her sleeping properly. I was falling apart, and Abbey was a saving Grace for me and my daughter.


Within four nights of using the proper plan written by Abbey, Eliza was sleeping 12 hours and napping 2 hours. Not only did this help me, it totally changed the disposition of my baby. She has always been so hard and “wild,” but now she can function because she is getting the proper amount of sleep. Before this sleep therapy, Eliza couldn’t sit still long enough to watch TV and now she loves to watch a movie or cartoons. I will forever be grateful for the gift of sleep for my daughter. Abbey wrote the most perfect plan for us and gave the best support!!!
